Mysushi

European sushi bars usually have a traditional feel rather then a contemporary approach. The visual identity for Mysushi instead is "modern, light and with just a little taste of sin". In La Rinascente's new food hall the Mysushi identity features a conveyor belt as a centrepiece, surrounded by full colour photographs of a young and alluring Japanese couple. These images are also used on the menu, designed as a house-paint colour chart. The graphics at Mysushi Factory include 6 light-boxes suspended from the ceiling with images that implement the Mysushi concept "modern, light with just a taste of sin". The sexy yet humorous icons, that combine the functions of sign and artwork, are employed also for a wide range of applications from shop windows to store furniture. The green colour of the logo, taken from the Japanese Wasabi sauce, is repeated across all communication, packaging and labelling, to create visibility and a strong brand identity.
